NEWEST CHILDREN'S BOOK/CD SET EXPLORES THE SEVEN OCEANS AND A WORLD OF ENCHANTMENT

MANCHESTER, VT Ð Independent Vermont publisher Chaser Media adds a new adventure to the series of popular Children's Book CD sets, with an enchanting look at ocean life and learning called "What's Under the Sea?" Babies, toddlers and young readers will delight in the underwater journey that takes Hailey and her friends, two bottlenose dolphins, around the seven seas of the world in sight and sound.

"What's Under the Sea?" features a stunning, originally composed soundtrack CD with melodies, sound effects and a fascinating narration of marine wonders, which will captivate both child and adult. Children can follow along with charming illustrations printed on sturdy, heavyweight bond in a 8.5" x 11" format book that is easy for young hands to hold. Book and CD come packaged in a zippered, travel tote bag with a plush toy from Mary Meyer.

"We take special care in creating our book/CD sets to be visually appealing and musically inspiring so that kids and parents will enjoy listening to them, over and over again.," said Vermont author Kathryn Vaughan, who also wrote the soothing lullaby story " Little One...Good Night " and a tale of fun and frolic in "My Day at the Zoo". "Music, art and reading are the foundation blocks that make a powerful presentation to young children," Vaughan added. "It's educational storytelling, yet packaged in a really engaging and entertaining way."

"These remarkably endearing books have enchanted our young readers and delighted their parents. They topped our bestseller list for 2004 and 2005!"

On each page of " What's Under the Sea? " children will enjoy finding the little puffer fish who tags along as Hailey and her friends visit the North and South Atlantic Oceans, then swim south to the Southern Ocean, around Africa to the Indian Ocean, continuing towards the South and North Pacific Oceans and finally turning north to the cold waters of the Artic Ocean. An undersea world unfolds with each page, as they explore marine life from reefs to glaciers. They visit with the funny-looking Lion Fish, colorful clown anemones, a mammoth Blue Whale and come face to face with the Dragon Moray Eel!

"Chaser Media Book/CD sets have simple lessons to tell through music appreciation," Vaughan said. "' Little One ' gives the sweet predictability of a Morgan foal's good night, while ÔMy Day at the Zoo' and Ô What's Under the Sea?' offers a peek into the animals that inhabit our world." Vaughan's books are about building relationshipsÉthe relationship of parent to child, and child to animals and a child's relationship to the world around them. "It's a new genre of children's storytelling through words and music.

Northshire Bookstore's Children's Book Buyer Jessica Woods has said, "These remarkably endearing books have enchanted our young readers and delighted their parents. They topped our bestseller list for 2004!"
